1993 Toyota short bed 22re conversion We originally received this project to convert the front a-arm suspension to an i-beam suspension. This Toyota has been custom fabricated with the following: Driver - Kevin Studley I-Beam Suspension - Giant Motorsports I Beam Conversion - 22" Travel Fiberglass - Tundra Conversion Rear Suspension - Giant Motorsports 64" Long Travel Spring Kit - 21" Travel, Giant Motorsports King Link-Killer by-pass shocks. Rear End - Giant Motorsports Pro Series Complete Axle Fuel System - 32 Gallon Jaz Fuel Cell Cab - 100% welds on roll cage, door bars, window nets, custom head rests, fiberglass dash Wheels and Tires - 33X12.5R15 Good Year Wrangler M/T mounted on 15 X 8 Out Law II Here are some pictures taken during the project: We have completed the full paint job on the Toyota and it is now ready for the finishing touches which will include the interior door cage, window nets, radio and gps installation, secondary door latches, race jack installation, brake and amber light installation, and limit strap on the drive line.
Here Giant Motorports is doing all of the mask and prep work for an old school Toyota graphics paint scheme. We like doing flat black on the dash to reduce the glare for function, plus we are continuing on to the hood to keep the theme together. Highlighting the louvers is just plane siiick! The fiberglass bedsides also get the three stripes to match the hood.
We are cutting out some of the old tubes in the rear of the truck to make room for a junk box. This is also the reason why we off-set the battery tray below.
While the fiberglass is getting painted, we have custom fabricated a new battery tray in the rear of the truck.
The fiberglass has been sent for a squirt of paint, and the rest of the truck will be going soon.
At this time all of the major suspension fabrication and installation is completed, we are working on the cab of the truck. We are fabricating new door bars for safety, custom head rests, and installing a fiberglass dash board as well as window nets.
The rear suspension is completed with the Giant Motorsports 64" Long Travel Spring Kit, Pro Series Complete Axle, Jaz fuel cell, King shocks, and custom fabricated tire mounts.
The front I beam suspension conversion is completed with new fiberglass one piece front end
Install new fiberglass and fabricate rear bed skins - Here we are installing a new one piece front end fiberglass and Giant Motorsports light bar.
Here is the mounting fabrication and completed rear bed skins.
Tear Down - Here we are tearing down the current fabrication and suspension on the toyota in the front and rear. We are preparing for the mock up and installation of our Giant Motorsports I-Beam Kit, as well as our Giant Motorsports 64" Long Travel Spring Kit, and our Giant Motorsports Pro Series Complete Axle.
