Daily Driver Link Kit — The Complete Guide | Giant Motorsports
The Giant Motorsports Daily Driver Link Kit
The kit that changed everything. Giant Motorsports redesigned the daily driver link concept — removing air shocks and adding one upper link to dramatically cut install cost while keeping your stock frame, axle, bed, and gas tank completely intact. Smog-legal. Traction control maintained. Up to 26″ of wheel travel.
What Is a Daily Driver Link Kit?
Traditional rear link conversions required cutting your frame, removing your bed, ditching your gas tank, and building an entire cage around the cab. Giant Motorsports solved every one of those problems. The Daily Driver Link Kit (DDL) keeps the stock frame, axle, bed, and gas tank while delivering genuine long travel performance — up to 26″ of wheel travel depending on your truck. It passes smog and maintains traction control. Run it to the races Saturday, drive to work Monday.
How It Works
The DDL replaces your leaf springs with a single upper link and lower link arms anchored to bolt-on frame pivots. A Panhard bar controls lateral movement. The result is genuine 4-link geometry without major frame modification.
- Lower link arms bolt to the frame via included frame pivots
- One upper link arm manages pinion angle and axle control
- Panhard bar frame mount bolts on — bar is sized and finish-welded by installer
- Four axle brackets weld to the axle housing
- Shocks, bed cage, hardware, and brake lines completed by installer
