Frame-Side Pivots for Boxed-Frame Trucks

The 4-Link Pivots for Boxed Frame trucks are the frame-side anchor for 3 or 4-link suspension builds on Toyota, Nissan, and mid-size Chevy trucks. Unlike open C-channel frames where you can bolt through the frame web, boxed frames require a weld-on approach. These pivots weld onto the outside of the boxed frame rail and provide a clean, strong pivot location for both upper and lower link arms.

Link Shock Mount Add-On

Link shock mounts can be added for $200 per pair — integrating the shock mount location into the same frame-side fabrication rather than treating it as a separate bed cage build. Worth considering if you want a consolidated frame-side build.

Compatible Frame Types

Boxed frame trucks: Toyota (Tacoma, Tundra), Nissan (Frontier, Titan), mid-size Chevrolet (Colorado, S10 late model), and other trucks with a fully boxed frame rail. Unsure if your truck has a boxed or open C-channel frame? Look at the frame cross-section — a boxed frame is closed on all four sides. Open C-channel has an open inside face.

Installation Notes

Weld-on to the outside of the boxed frame rail. Position carefully — pivot height and fore-aft placement determine your link geometry. Welding to a boxed frame requires good penetration; use appropriate preheat on thicker frame sections.
