The GIANT MotorSports WIY 2WD Equal-Length I-Beam Plate Kit is the foundation for a custom long-travel front suspension build. All plates are precision-cut and ready to fit together — main beam plates, end caps, teardrop plates, back layer plates, front overlay, and threaded bungs. You provide the tubing, heim joints, and welding. Beam width and ride height are set by the builder.

Setting Your Beam Width and Ride Height

Beam width (and thus track width) is determined by the tubing length you cut — the plates fit around whatever tube length you spec. Ride height is set by your pivot placement and spindle geometry. This is the build flexibility you are paying for with the WIY approach: a finished beam kit sets these dimensions for you; the WIY kit lets you set them yourself.
