Crossover Single Steering Mount

$375.00

Single crossover steering swinger for equal-length beam trucks where the steering box is mounted outside the frame — passenger side only. Pitman arm not included. Call or text GIANT MotorSports for fitment questions.

One Swinger When That Is All You Need

On most equal-length beam builds, crossover steering requires two swingers — one on each side. But there are setups where the steering box is positioned outside the frame rail on the passenger side, and only the passenger-side swinger is needed to complete the crossover geometry. This single-swinger mount is built for that configuration.

Using two swingers when your geometry only requires one adds unnecessary components and can introduce incorrect geometry if the second swinger is not positioned precisely.

What Is Included

  • Single crossover steering swinger — passenger side
  • Bushings and sleeves
  • Weld-on mount

One or Two Swingers?

If your steering box is inside the frame rail (standard position on most trucks), you typically need the full two-swinger kit for your vehicle (see the Toyota, F-150, or Ranger Crossover Steering Swinger listings). If your steering box is outside the frame rail, the passenger-side single swinger is often sufficient. Unsure? Call 714-265-1450 and describe your setup — we will confirm before you order.

Compatible Applications

Equal-length beam setups across platforms where only the passenger-side swinger is required. Pitman arm not included — source one appropriate to your steering box.

Installation Notes

Weld-on mount. Drag link geometry setup is the critical step — the drag link should run as parallel to the lower beam as possible to minimize bump steer through the travel range.
