Giant Motorsports weld-it-yourself kits give you the same design and engineering as our complete kits — at a fraction of the cost. If you have a welder and the skills to use it, WIY is the fastest way to get serious long travel suspension on your truck.
What Is a WIY Kit?
Every suspension component Giant Motorsports sells was originally designed and fabricated in-house. Our WIY kits package the precision-cut plates, tubes, and hardware that go into our complete kits — and let you do the welding yourself. You get Giant Motorsports engineering without the Giant Motorsports labor cost.
These aren’t rough cut blanks. Plates are precision cut and ready to fit together. You weld, grind, and finish to your standard. All the hard geometry work is done.

WIY 2WD Equal Length I-Beam Plate Kit (click to enlarge)

WIY 2WD Equal Length I-Beam Plate Kit
Plate kit for building your own equal-length I-beams for 2WD long travel. Main beam plates, end caps, teardrop plates, threaded bungs. Tubing and heims required.

Equal Length Beam Pivots
Heavy-duty beam pivots for custom I-beam builds. Larger footprint than competing pivots. Fits Ranger, F-150, Explorer, Super Duty 4WD.
WIY 4-Link Kits

Weld It Yourself Link Arms
P&O mild steel link arm kit — MIG or TIG weldable. 1.75" x .120" DOM tube, bushing sleeves, chrome-moly shock bosses. 55" center-to-center.

WIY 4-Link Frame Pivots
Weld-it-yourself frame pivots for 3 or 4-link builds on open C-channel trucks. Budget entry point. Bolt-on version also available for $475.
WIY Shackles & Bash Plates

WIY Shackles – Toyota, S-10, Nissan, Explorer
Makes a pair of 12" shackles with all frame mount hardware. Half the cost of the bolt-on version. Welding required.
WIY Axle Tabs & Truss

Upper and Lower 4-Link Tabs – Ford 9"
Weld-on upper and lower 4-link tabs for Ford 9" axles. Centered (63.5" WMS) or offset (66" / 69" WMS) options.

Upper 4-Link Tabs – Ford 9"
Weld-on upper 4-link tabs for Ford 9" axles. Centered or offset housing configurations.

Lower 4-Link Tabs
Weld-on lower 4-link tabs for any axle diameter, link arm size, and placement. Flexible foundation for custom builds.

Axle Truss – Weld It Yourself
WIY axle truss for most common rear axles. No preload required. Fits Dana 35/44/60, Ford 8.8, GM 11.5, Sterling, and more.
WIY Bumpers

WIY Front Bumper – F-150 / F-250 / Bronco
Weld-it-yourself front bumper kit for 92-96 F-150, F-250, and Bronco. Main mount welds inside frame for earlier models.
WIY Shock Mounts & Cage Parts

Link Shock Mounts – Dome Top
Starting point for building your bed cage. Dome-top positions shock 4.25" less forward than flat-top. Works with coil-over or bypass.

Link Shock Mounts – Flat Top
Flat-top link shock mounts for bed cage builds. 4.25" more forward than dome-top version.
What You Need to Know Before Starting
- A MIG or TIG welder capable of welding 3/16″ plate and DOM tube
- Basic fabrication skills — cutting, fitting, tacking, welding out
- A grinder for cleanup and prep
- WIY kits do not include heims, bearings, or bolts unless specified
