Why 64″ and Spring-Under?
The stock Ford Ranger leaf spring setup tops out around 10–12″ of total wheel travel on a good day — fine for light trail use, not enough if you are chasing desert race performance or serious off-road capability. The GIANT MotorSports 64″ kit addresses the fundamental constraint: spring length and mounting position.
Moving from spring-over to spring-under the axle adds 7″ of usable spring length and opens up 17″ of free arch. That extra arch is what delivers 8–10″ of droop from static ride height and brings total wheel travel up to 19″.

Springs Are Sourced Separately — Here Is Why
Leaf springs come from Deaver Spring Co. and are not included in this kit. Deaver builds packs to your specific application — a Ranger carrying a spare, tools, and camping gear needs a meaningfully different spring rate than a stripped-out race truck. Spec them to your actual use before you order.
Shock Pairing
For maximum travel, pair this kit with the Link Killer Shock mounting system. A 3.25″ Solid Shock Co. bypass shock combined with this spring kit can push total travel to 20″. A 4.0″ shock option is available for more aggressive builds. Call to confirm shock fit for your specific Ranger configuration.
Compatible Vehicles
Ford Ranger. For similar kits on F-150, Bronco, Tacoma, S10, Nissan, or Mazda, each platform has its own geometry-specific version — do not cross-apply.
Installation Notes
All frame mounts are weld-on. Setting pinion angle correctly after the spring-under conversion is critical — get it wrong and you will have driveshaft vibration at highway speed. Plan for a full shop day minimum. Questions about your specific Ranger configuration: 714-265-1450.
