Serious Travel for the Titan — Spring-Under Conversion

The Nissan Titan is a full-size truck with a heavier rear end than most compact trucks, which makes spring selection more important and the spring-under conversion more valuable. Moving the spring below the axle adds 7\” of usable spring length and 17\” of free arch, producing 8-10\” of droop from ride height and up to 19\” of total wheel travel.

Springs: Deaver, Specified to Your Titan Weight

Springs, bushings, and U-bolts come from Deaver Spring Co. and are not included. This matters especially for the Titan: it is a heavier truck than the Rangers and Tacomas this spring architecture is commonly built for, and running an incorrectly rated spring will either blow through travel or prevent you from reaching full droop. Call Deaver with 64\” length, your Titan configuration, and your loaded weight.

Shock Compatibility

Compatible Vehicles

Nissan Titan (full-size). If your build is for a Nissan Frontier or older D21, call first — this kit is sized for the Titan chassis specifically.

Installation Notes

Frame mounts are weld-on. The Titan heavier drivetrain makes correct pinion angle more critical than on lighter trucks — vibration at 65 mph will destroy U-joints over time. Call 714-265-1450 with build-specific questions.
