Coil-Over Mounting for I-Beam Rangers and Explorers
When you install an I-beam kit on a 1984-1996 Ranger or 1991-1994 Explorer, the factory front spring location is no longer relevant — the coil-over moves to the engine cage. The GIANT MotorSports Ranger/Explorer Engine Cage provides the coil-over mount in a fully bolt-on assembly with a detachable cross member that clears every major under-hood obstruction.
This cage fits most aftermarket lift kits, not just GIANT MotorSports I-beam kits — making it a viable option for Ranger and Explorer builders using other beam systems who need a clean coil-over mounting solution.

Detachable Cross Member
The cross member removes for maintenance access — battery replacement, brake system work, A/C service, and air filter changes all remain accessible without removing the entire cage. This is the design decision that separates a well-engineered cage from one that buries your engine bay forever.
Optional Steering Swinger Mounts
If you are adding crossover steering to your Ranger or Explorer I-beam build, the optional steering swinger mounts on this cage provide the upper steering mount location. Specify at order time. Call 714-265-1450 to include in your order.
