Spring-Under for S10 — With an Important Fitment Note
The GIANT MotorSports 64\” spring-under kit for Chevy S10 achieves 19\” of travel ceiling by mounting the spring below the axle — adding 7\” of usable spring length and 17\” of free arch, delivering 8-10\” of droop from static ride height.
Before ordering: the S10 frame is wider than most comparable trucks, and the spring-under conversion requires a wider rear axle for correct fitment under the frame. If you are running the stock S10 axle width, this axle upgrade is required. Plan for it as part of the build cost.

Springs: Deaver, Ordered Separately
Leaf springs, bushings, and U-bolts come from Deaver Spring Co. and are not included. The benefit is rate customization — spec your spring to your actual loaded S10 weight and use case. Call Deaver with 64\” length and your application details.
64\” vs 62\” for S10
The 62\” kit includes a Deaver spring and works with a stock-width S10 axle — easier and more self-contained. The 64\” kit requires a wider axle and separate spring sourcing, but gives you a custom-rate spring and the spring-under architecture. If your S10 build involves a wider axle upgrade anyway, the 64\” is the right choice. If you are keeping a stock axle, start with the 62\”.
Installation Notes
Frame mounts weld on. Wider axle required — confirm your axle width before ordering. Pinion angle setup is critical post-conversion. Call 714-265-1450 with S10-specific questions.
