Link Shock Mounts – Dome Top
$275.00
Dome-top link shock mounts — the starting point for building a linked truck bed cage. Compatible with a single coil-over or combined bypass shock setup. Sits 4.25″ less forward than the flat-top version.
Dome Top vs Flat Top — Why the Profile Matters
The difference between the dome-top and flat-top link shock mounts is shock position relative to the chassis. The dome-top profile sits 4.25\” closer to the truck than the flat-top version — making it the right choice when you need the shock tube positioned tight to the frame due to cab clearance, bed width constraints, or a coilover stroke that requires a more inboard mount location.
Both versions are the starting point for building your linked truck bed cage. These mounts are where the cage begins — everything else in the cage build references off the shock mount placement.
What Is Included
- Dome-top link shock mounts (pair)
Which One to Choose
Wider shocks and shorter cab-to-axle trucks tend to favor the dome top. Longer trucks with more bed space typically have room for the flat top outboard position. If you are unsure, call 714-265-1450 — describe your truck, shock brand and diameter, and we will point you to the right version.
Shock Compatibility
Compatible with a single coil-over or a combined coil-over and bypass shock setup. See the Link Killer Shocks and Solid Shock Co. 3.0\” Internal Bypass Coil-Over listings for shock options that pair with these mounts.
Installation Notes
Weld-on. Position carefully before final weld — shock mount placement relative to the axle centerline affects shock angle and effective travel. These mounts are not repositionable after welding without cutting.
