Upper Link Tabs — Built for the Ford 9\”
The Upper 4-Link Tabs for Ford 9\” axles are the axle-side mount for the upper link arm in a 4-link suspension build. Available in two housing configurations — centered (63.5\” to wheel mounting surface) and offset (66\” or 69\” to WMS) — to match the specific Ford 9\” housing width you are running.
Upper link placement is one of the most consequential geometry decisions in a 4-link build. The height of the upper link mount relative to the lower determines your instant center, which drives anti-squat characteristics, driveshaft angle under load, and suspension behavior under acceleration and braking.

Centered vs Offset — Which Do You Need?
- Centered (63.5\” to WMS): Housing centered under the truck. Standard for most production axles and stock-width builds.
- Offset (66\” or 69\” to WMS): Housing offset — common when a narrowed or widened 9\” is used, or when chassis width dictates an offset housing for correct track width.
Measure from the WMS on each side of your axle. If they are equal, you are centered. If not, you are offset. Call 714-265-1450 to confirm before ordering.
